After several months of explicitly seeking something to work on, I am “working on” simply nurturing my curiosity.

I now have a contract job that is not too demanding, and while I know it won’t be long-term sustainable, what I really need right now is not “the next thing” but space for my soul to breathe and wander.

I am excited to spend this holiday season reading and exploring. When something starts to feel like work more than play, I’ll gently step back.

i’ve started writing fiction just recently and thought i’d share an early draft. this is a snippet from a fantasy novel i’ve been working on. very open to thoughtful feedback, especially if there are elements that really pull you out of the story
