Lastly, remember: Any btc held in any way off bitcoin blockchain is trusting a custodian somewhere… (except perhaps lightning or other “layer 2 bitcoin protocols).

First: It depends on WHERE your wbtc and btc are located (self or other custody?). If custodial: (send to) cefi exchange then send to your cold wallet bitcoin address (to make it self custody!) If already self custodial: defi exchange then bridge btc to bitcoin chain :)
