My friends are not very immersed in the crypto environment, and they largely have a stereotype about theft and scam in crypto. My point is that this is indeed the case. No matter how cryptocurrency develops, we cannot predict what will happen tomorrow.

Everything I wrote above applies to the Tether company and their USDT token. The fact is that their opaque USD input-output system was noticed a long time ago.

Essentially, for every USDT there should be one USD in the Tether treasury. In fact, the company allows itself to "invest" in strange organizations. One day, it may happen that most people with USDT will want to exchange the token for real dollars, but Tether simply will not have a sufficient balance in USD.
