Women drive 75% of consumer spending, yet < 2% of VC funding goes to female founders and only 12.5% of women in the US own stocks. 

The system wasn’t built for us. But onchain, we can build a better one. Why?

1. Direct access to capital without traditional gatekeepers, communities not institutions decide what gets funded 
2. Smart contracts enforce transparent, equal rules - no exceptions, no favoritism, universal and globally accessible
3. Creators (where women are the majority) keep more of what they earn, with revenue flowing directly to them instead of extractive platforms

This is so wild to me!  Thats one problem that web3 can solve.  NFTs can help women raise money and build products.  But it also has to change in the VC world.  That’s why supporting women in tech is so important!  I’m looking to helping or organizing an all female hacker house for @ethdenver next year.  I know herdao has hosted ones before.
