Yeah. Good call out. The ultimate question being: how do we surface rich, engaging content without implementing an algorithm that surfaces the same, popular users and instead opens the platform up for community-building and open discussion. I like the idea of channels as being microcommunities for engagement, but I'm not sure they're as effective as they ought to be. And I agree on frames. There are some great ones and some fun ones, but frames generally can develop into an ecosystem of crap if we're not careful.

I’m learning that “spammy” and “bots” might be getting conflated in the discussions happening now. Because three accounts I follow that are flagged as most likely spammy per the Dune query (https://dune.com/jkavithamahesh/farcaster-followers-and-following-with-spam-label-by-fid) are not bots but are exhibiting “spammy” behavior (linking out to @rodeodotclub) for most or all casts.
