It has solved the issue of bad judgment from an uneducated populace. That’s a red herring argument at this point. Proxies solve it, gotta get the word out :)

Anyone interested in breaking the two party duopoly in America? Seems like there’s an easy fix - copy the French presidential voting system. Multiple parties compete in round 1 making as many as 5 different parties viable. Then the top two compete in a runoff to prevent a tyranny of the minority

I think direct democracy works fine, just need an easy way for people to assign voter proxies on a per vote basis. I assign my domestic issues to one proxy, international maybe to another etc. if I don’t like what they do, I assign a new proxy. No need to wait 2 years for a new congressional election

This post nails the essence of competition in crypto it’s a (somewhat zero sum) competition for legitimacy. And because time and size increase legitimacy, almost every project in crypto starts out ‘illegitimate’
