so pectra is still the largest upgrade in ethereum's history by number of eips, at now 11 eips, the second largest was the byzantium upgrade containing 9 eips. it's still a risky upgrade no matter how you split it, which is why the more testing and eyes on it the better.

I think it's worth mentioning that the painfully difficult part is building an L1 for the hard times. Building for the good times is A LOT easier, as we've seen, not just with L2s but also with the dozens of alt L1s that keep sprouting every cycle with few differentiators.

I’m surprised more entrepreneurs haven’t implemented optimal pedagogy practices via software since it’s not as constrained by public school standards, but maybe it’s because building an educational curriculum is tedious, challenging, and takes a while.

One of the super powers of ZK is the ability to create fully private and permissioned L2s that use Ethereum as the settlement layer while still being able to interact with the rest of the ZKsync ecosystem once interop is live. Can’t do anything like this with optimistic roll up
