i also cannot remember if i had seen paul simon play central park decades ago or if i made it up in my head

I thought Chevy Chase was Paul Simon because of the "You Can Call Me Al Video" for most of the mid to late 1980s.

For Real, I thought Paul Simon was a BAD ASS smooth mfer who also was in movies and shit and then my dad showed me one of the old S&G records, and I realized I was so very wrong.

Haha I remember this, Chevy Chase did good lip synching, I also thought he was the singer at first but then I saw Paul Simon singing somewhere else, big revelation😂
