Jolt Alpha it out and it's crazy fast with more optimization opportunities remaining than any other zkVM. Since uses a many-round polynomial IOP based on sum-check + a commitment scheme for multilinear polynomials, it hasn't had all the eyes on it (like other methods). Lots of low-hanging fruit to PROVE FAST.

We’re right in the middle of an exciting cycle for zk application. Still so much foundational work happening on the execution models and runtime environments. This is far from over.
