Starting today, members of DAOs using @votecaster can delegate their voting power to other Farcaster users.

This helps increase DAO turnout and achieve thresholds by delegating to trusted community members transparently.

New features:
🫴 Delegate your voting power to another Farcaster user
📔 View all delegations in a specific DAO
💬 Notify all DAO members directly via Warpcast DC (if you're admin)

Delegation is liquid, which means that if user X delegates to user Y, and user Y delegates to user Z, then user Z will aggregate the voting power of all of them. Creating chains of trust, called Metadelegation.

We just added Liquid Vote delegation to Votecaster.io

This means that DAO members delegate their voting power to someone they trust, and the delegate can pass the aggregated voting power on to others, creating a chain of trusted voters.
