It means pressing multiple keys at once for a different action than the keys themselves. It’s a feature that some keyboards offer. I use a ZSA Voyager and have programmed them to do this.

Sounds really useful. I own a Keychron keyboard and I’m curious if it supports that functionality. If you don't mind, could you point me to some resources on how to configure this? Is it managed through software? I looked on Google, but I'm probably not using the proper keywords.
