Market experts had expected Ethereum spot trading exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to launch next week, but the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has delayed the process. The SEC needs more time to return the S-1 forms submitted by potential issuers of Ethereum ETFs, according to Eric Balchunas and James Seyfarth, ETF analysts at Bloomberg, which is why the launch of these funds has been pushed back to mid-July or later.
