I'm product lead at pn, focused on platform initiatives. I have a long history in fintech before making the jump to web3 and crypto.

what is pirate nation, and how did it come to be?

Pirate Nation is a fun pirate thee rpg built on nova but what it really is is a testing ground for our technology stack to help ourselves and eventually others build fully onchain games.

We had been on Polygon for our launch and it wasn't going to work for our purposes in terms of cost and speed. The move to Arb was important to ensure we can hit our scaling goals without going bankrupt. We have been extremely happy with their team and tech and are so glad we made the move to Nova
