spent the final 24 hours with my phone—peacefully, free of its case. a couple calls, a few messages, some youtube, some casting.
today we part ways after three full years. thousands of moments captured without a scratch: live sets, selfies with loved ones, ubers, debugging apps. it's slower than it once was, with a battery that gives up by sunset. it will leave quietly in an unmarked box, replaced by an upgrade in every way.
