Talking of engagement, I’d love to chip in something. I feel like the Farcaster algorithm could use some improvement, particularly in ensuring fairness. Now I’m not saying it’s completely flawed, but one major issue I’ve noticed is the Trending Casts section.

Some casts that appear there don’t seem trending-worthy, while others, from highly consistent and talented creators like @depressivehacks @shamanistic.eth and some other creators who I feel like they’ve been making banger casts (in my own opinion) never seem to make it to that section.

This raises the question: How does the algorithm determine which casts are “worthy” of trending and which ones aren’t? And if it’s strictly by engagements how does it pick it up ?
