Just booked the first flight in my life, never traveled outside of my country (Chile!) or on plane and I NEED suggestions as to what to do to make my travel more comfy as I'm a very anxious person, will be going to /farcon and the travel is about 17 hrs with connection in Panama. pls reply

Take enough books or movies with you to pass the time You can take sweets too or gum And relax It's not stressful

The only thing you really need to bring with you is a chill attitude. It's 17 hours of waiting around. Stretch your legs during any stopovers, grab some good reading material, and enjoy the experience and new places. Airport food: ask a flight attendant or local airport worker the best place to eat.

Bring headphones, I find packing a few small shooters of alcohol helps me go to sleep when the plane takes off.

Guard your passport more than you would guard your life. Don't be afraid of immigration, it can be scary when you are a new traveler. DO NOT CHANGE CURRENCY IN THE AIRPORT, NO NO NO THEY ARE SCAMMERS! Enjoy it fren traveling is something awesome you are going to love it, choose a seat in the plane near a window!

- watch movies and read books!! - wear comfortable clothing - make sure your carry on has all the stuff you might need in case of delays - tooth brush, some toiletries, change of underwear, socks shirt - people watch! - airports are an amazing place to see humans at their strangest - sleep on the plane!
