Because of a dispute between our supreme court and Elon, X might be blocked in Brazil at any moment.

I never thought the need for a censorship resistant social media would arrive this quickly.

There is much more to it than just an all powerful judge trying to censor some twitter accounts. There was an "attempted" coup d'etat  last election and some of it's supporters are quite popular online.

Complicated situation! And Elon getting involved brought a lot of media attention over it.

The judicial decision was a bit wild - at least from a quick ignorant first read.

But anyway, losing twitter would be a big blow to the country. There is a lot of trash there, but if you follow/interact with the right people it's an ocean of knowledge.
