This take from @ted is so real. But I’m coming at it from a different angle than most of the responses in this thread… (prepare for a mini TedTalk on systemic failure and how blockchain and AI tech can fix it) For some of us, the market isn’t abstract—it’s lived. It directly affects our bottom line. People don’t always see how market downturns connect to real-world survival, and how the trickle-down effect of finance and policy hits the most vulnerable the hardest. What’s even sadder is most don’t even realize why they’re being hit so hard by it all. But for some of us, the connection is painfully clear. (Continued in thread ↓)

Part 2 of 3: I’m in the middle of an active criminal case as a victim of a crime that never should’ve gotten this far. My partner and I are dealing with civil rights violations, tenant abuse, and police misconduct. There are laws that should be protecting us—clear, enforceable laws. We’re talking statutory + compensatory violations worth over $50K in damages, not even counting the civil damages we’ve endured. Violations so blatant they qualify for summary judgment. But enforcement? Nonexistent. Gaslighting? Constant. What started as standing up for our rights has become a 90-day protest against being coerced to surrender them. Under the law, these rights should’ve been protected from day one. (Continued in thread ↓)
