Update: after hours of tinkering, I am  still no closer to accessing the $5 USDC 😅 got no idea which wallet it went to.

I have, however, resuscitated my old ETH wallet from 2017 and installed /rainbow at @christin‘s reco.

So much to learn. Gonna park for now, sleep, and hopefully figure it out later 💤

GOOD LORD after hours of untangling and googling I finally figured out where the USDC is being sent.

TLDR: smart wallets

Coinbase apparently made a "smart wallet" when i connected it to FC at the time of acct creation, and I have no idea what that is or why it did that for me

That's why i had no recovery keys, but i did have keys (which I just thought were regular passwords for the longest time) saved on my 1pass

Plus, these so-called smart wallets cannot be accessed on either coinbase apps, nor on browser extension... only via browser on wallet.coinbase.com. 

Hella confusing.

I had an old wallet already connected to Coinbase. When Warpcast offered Coinbase as a way to verify that I had an ETH wallet, I thought it would hook up to that.

Instead it made this smart wallet

It might have something to do with so-called L1/L2 compatibility? This is  officially beyond my current comprehension

Where did you first make a wallet when connecting to Warpcast?

Also, currently working on adding support to the Coinbase Wallet mobile app
