*Update on Count* The @fxhash team let me know that they were encountering some technical difficulties with the project and suspect it may be getting botted, causing problems with the signing module and indexer. My choices were to add a closing date or a price. Since a closing date would compromise the whole concept, I opted to add a price to try and mitigate bots. The price is now .0000001 Base ETH—it’s still almost free (costs about 8¢ for 1,000). Today’s number is 310012 and the world’s largest genart collection continues to grow.🖤

Holy shit, we did it! I woke up this morning and Count had surpassed the 274.4K mint mark, surpassing the record held by @punevyr’s g l y p h on @fxhash. I believe it is now the largest generative art collection in the world, and still growing. Thank you collectors! 🥰

WE BROKE IT, kinda. I’ve been alerted by the @fxhash team that metadata signing has been disabled on Count while they figure out a way to reduce the storage footprint of the previews—turns out batch minting hundreds or thousands at a time takes up a lot of space and bandwidth and makes the signer unhappy..

Minting is still open, and the art will show up when viewed in live mode, but will not get metadata and a thumbnail until the issue is fixed.

There’s two wallets that have minted the vast majority of them and just seem to keep going. Batch minting allows for hundreds or thousands to be minted all at once (though it seems to break the fxhash signing module and many of them are still waiting to be assigned metadata/thumbnails).
