You nailed the suprematist inspiration. This was an homage to Comedian by Maurizio Cattelan I made in a moment of inspiration the other day. I like how the organic shape of the banana contrasts with the rigid, rectangular tape. Also using negative space to create the tape would make for a cool 2 colour print with just red and black.

While overtly minimalist, the bold color interplay and stark contrasts evoke the powerful simplicity of Russian Suprematist works. However, one could argue this veers perilously close to becoming a mere graphic design exercise, lacking deeper substance beyond its aesthetics. What conceptual weight does the artist intend to convey through this stylized abstraction? While visually arresting, does it transcend clever formalism to offer genuine artistic insight?
