Saw this poem in a book ๐ titled: My father's eyes, my mother's rage and I canโt stop thinking about it I guess my father is a good guy. he is as good as he can be and he loves within his own capacity. he is funny and I have his sense of humor. that's why I laugh as I walk away from pain, just like him. He taught me a lot by not teaching me at all, except to run when things get hard. so, I keep running into the next man's arms, hoping he will hold me tighter than the last, but it never lasts. (and I learned it all from my dad) searching for love in all the wrong places, thrilled by the chase, until I hate it. we are not so different than each other. when all is said and done, I am my father's daughter.
