🔸 Eugene Fama, a prominent economist known as the father of modern finance, predicted on the Capitalisn’t podcast that the value of Bitcoin (BTC) will reach zero within the next decade.
🔸 Fama, who introduced the efficient market theory in the 1960s, believes that cryptocurrencies violate all the rules of a medium of exchange because they do not have a fixed value.
🔸 When asked about the probability of Bitcoin’s value falling to zero within the next 10 years, he said the probability is close to one.
🔸 Fama also said he hopes the Bitcoin bubble bursts, otherwise all monetary theory will have to be rewritten.
