Back in 2013, my friend Jake was an early adopter of cryptocurrencies. He was fascinated by Bitcoin and spent hours mining it on his gaming PC. At the time, Bitcoin was worth around $100. Jake tried to convince us to invest, but we all laughed it off, thinking it was just a fad. 

Years passed, and Bitcoin's value skyrocketed. By 2017, it was worth nearly $20,000. Jake had held onto his coins and suddenly found himself sitting on a small fortune. He cashed out a portion and bought his dream car, a Tesla. Meanwhile, the rest of us were left shaking our heads, wishing we'd listened to him back in the day.
