It's awesome! How much gas does P256 verification take?

From Daimo’s doc it currently costs 332k gas to verify; however if EIP-7212 is implemented it would cost only 3.4k!

Not bad at all! I was thinking about 1m. What is the status of the EIP, is it going to be activated on a mainnet? As I understand at this point precompiles for specific curves are not considered for activation. More likely some of the L2s will add it.
