Can confirm @balajis.eth that smart money outside of US is to avoid and limit exposure to USA. Outside of the US this is routine non controversial for both retail and wholesale. US exposure comes with a ton of legal and market risks. You have to have a very very good reason to have US exposure. Few inside the US grok this
