Vitalik Buterin is one of the co-founders of Ethereum, one of the most significant blockchain platforms, launched in 2015. Born in Russia and raised in Canada, Buterin initially entered the cryptocurrency world by writing for Bitcoin Magazine. He then created Ethereum with the goal of providing a platform for smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps).
