Node sale When a crypto project pushes for a Node Sale or Token Sale before the TGE (Token Generation Event), it's often a major red flag. Here’s why: 1. Early Investors Get Wrecked – If the team is selling tokens before TGE at a high price, there's no real market price yet. Once the token launches, the price often crashes because the project artificially inflated its value. 2. Team Wants Quick Cash – Instead of securing funding through long-term investors or proper development, they try to extract as much money as possible from the community before launch. 3. Potential Exit Strategy – If a project aggressively sells nodes or tokens pre-TGE, sometimes the real goal is just to cash out before even launching a functional ecosystem. A legitimate project focuses on building utility, demand, and fair token distribution instead of squeezing maximum money out of early supporters. So yeah, pre-TGE sales at high, non-market-driven prices are often designed to benefit the team, not the investors.
