I committed to doing this when I was still holding on to hope that I could fix/replace the economic model of tipping allowances. But then when I tried to restrict tip trading, many people freaked out and sold. That resulted in even less time to better system. You can withdraw at any time, but since it streams/vests at a continuous rate you will only be able to withdraw whatever has vested when you withdraw. It will reach the full amount by the 30th day after you initiate it.

I'm not sure how the process works exactly, but the stream can be transferred to a different wallet. You will likely need to initiate it with the compromised wallet, then transfer. Lower barrier to entry requires everyone accepting less daily allowance or even more token issuance, which creates more selling. Tipping tokens in a bear market are a no-win situation.

What most people were demanding was massive amounts of free tokens that they could trade with other tippers. As I explained in the piece, that is a broken economic model. I couldn't continue burning my own money on a broken system. I already spent thousands trying to make it work.

I would compensate people if I could, but I also lost substantial money (thousands). I was changing the rules frequently because the extreme token issuance is unsustainable. I should have realized this before launching it. I'm very sorry. As for the channel moderation, the vast majority of the visual content posted was AI slop used as bait for tip trading.

I get your point that I might have rushed some changes or didn't communicate them well enough. But all of that just exposed the extreme fragility of the economic model. All tipping tokens have been heading downward for months. 🫤 Linear vesting spreads out the claim window but doesn't slow issuance. My thinking is the sooner the extreme token issuance stops and the community is put in control of the treasury, the greater the chance Farther can still have a future.
