The story of the film begins with a number of icebreakers who are collecting ice from a frozen lake in the cold parts of Norway in Arendal. Among them, an 8-year-old boy named "Christoph" is trying to collect ice with his young reindeer "Esun" and he is trying as hard as he can for this task.
