Over time, we learn that peace is a conscious choice. Showing less reaction to the events around us does not mean indifference, rather, it’s a sign of inner strength and mental maturity. When we learn not to let every word or incident directly affect our hearts, we are truly protecting our mental and physical well being. Life is always full of challenges, but how we respond to them determines the quality of our lives. Staying calm in the midst of storms is the greatest art of life.

Also, the concept of peace should not be confused with a ceasefire, because "peace" means the end of conflict and the cessation of war.
