💸 Crypto User Loses $25M by Sending Funds to the Wrong Address 😥 A cryptocurrency user accidentally lost $25 million by sending Renzo restaked ether tokens to their safe module instead of their safe wallet. All thanks to a bot withdrawal gone wrong and a classic copy-paste error — one wrong address, and poof, $25M locked away. 🔒 The problem is, this module has locked up the funds — and now they’re stuck there forever. 👀 The Renzo project, which created this token, could theoretically retrieve the funds by updating the contract and “hacking” their own code. But they’re not exactly rushing to do so. 💰Desperate, the user is offering 10% ($2.5M) to anyone who can help regain access to the funds. 🤦‍♂️ To make things worse, if the market rises, the frozen $25M could jump to $100M in value — a blunder that’s just racking up interest in stupidity tax.
