Side note: I started this comment hours ago, got distracted, left, and just remembered again before going to sleep šŸ˜ This advice comes from someone (me) who studied law in Germany which includes a 1-2 year independent studying period without checkpoints: - People with ADHD have difficulties getting getting shit done if the reward is too far in the future -> Create artificial short term rewards which are tied to blocks of studying. As in, if I get through this chapter I can *insert enjoyable activity/thing/food* - Try to imagine that good ass feeling youā€™ll have in the evening knowing you got it done. This motivates me a lot - knowing Iā€™ll feel good in my off time instead of guilty - Schedule breaks to recharge, no matter if you got things done or procrastinated before! You need to have time in which you recharge guilt-free - Be nice to yourself, beating yourself up over procrastinating helps no one šŸ«¶šŸ½ it happens to the best of us
