Few things for the week: -On the Macro side, last week, economic data suggested that the U.S. economy is on track for a soft landing, which is exactly what the Fed wants to see. Consequently, although policymakers have recently announced that they expect rate cuts to begin by December 2024, financial markets expect the Fed to start its easing cycle in September. Let’s see who will be right but my guess is that we might get a cut by September. -According to The Block, Bitcoin price has recently deviated from its expected correlation with the Nasdaq and the S&P, at least on the short-term. Surprisingly, Gold prices are increasingly correlated to Bitcoin movements when looking at the last weeks. I like to see this as it means that even if US equities deviate a bit, crypto should be fine. -The top performers of the week include two ETH Beta: $MOG (an Ethereum meme coin) and $ENS (Ethereum Name Service). Good performance of $WIF as well, particularly after VanEck announced their SOL spot ETF applications.
