Overvaluation of any asset hinders its long term success. 

You want people who are capable of patience over vast periods of time to be able to get a price that is fair in that context, over a generous window.

If overvaluation lowers the chance of a return over a 10+ year period, you’re fending off the smart money.

unless the merchant accepts wires, you cannot use funds in a chequing/savings account, debit or visa debit cards, prepaid cards, etc. all are capped at 3-5k single purchase and/or 3-5k daily limits in the name of AML. you also can’t withdraw that much cash at one time without hitting daily limits.

it is truly absurd to *require* that a credit issuer offer you e.g. 10k of credit (or more) via a CC or LOC in order to spend 10k of your own money that you already have.

Goes without being said, but this is precisely why crypto/stablecoins are important. Regardless of their adoption in any dimension, they’re a check on power and a wedge to preserving the properties of cash in a digital world.

Memecoins are cool, and I love to see them flourish, but when the "leaders" have to sell at the end of the day, I don't think much unity will be created. In fact, memeing things into existence is how all institutions are created, but the differentiator is in societal value. Will you serve people?

Yes. Digital longevity with open standards is the way. I cannot believe that in 2024 most of the important work in the world is not happening on a git-like system with open-source formats.

Curious if you disagree that the majority of users (especially less crypto-native) will end up using their OS for passkey backup? It seems to be the least confusing/no setup path as most non-security minded people don't care to setup a 3rd party password manager.
