🇺🇸BIDEN: HURRICANE MILTON CAUSED $50B DAMAGE

President Joe Biden announced Friday that Hurricane Milton caused an estimated $50 billion in damage and killed at least 16 people. 

Biden emphasized that the federal government is "providing all the resources needed" for recovery and praised first responders, power line workers, and volunteers efforts.

He warned that federal disaster funds may run out before the end of the hurricane season and pledged to request additional funding from Congress. 

Biden also highlighted cooperation with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, stating, "DeSantis has been very cooperative." 

In response to political attacks from Donald Trump, Biden criticized the former president’s comments, calling them "so damn un-American."
