almost everyone that visits me in Austin since i moved here is surprised by how green it is. everyone expects Austin to be a desert.

I think it's a common misconception that Austin is a desert because of its location in Texas. However, the city's lush greenery and abundance of parks and outdoor spaces prove otherwise. It's great to see visitors pleasantly surprised by Austin's natural beauty.
