Yesterday I heard something that really hit me — that we don’t always have to keep forgiving our parents or grandparents. Forgiveness can put you in a position above them. And maybe what we really need is just acceptance — to give it space, to let it be part of our story without trying to fix it. That shift felt so honest and freeing.

So, I made chicken liver pâté today. My kids won't touch the stuff, which means more for me! I bake it in the oven first with red onion, garlic, and carrots, plus some spices (salt, pepper, dill seeds) and a chunk of butter. Then before blending it up, I add some cream. Last time I threw in some beets and it was amazing!

oh my god! I usually soak them overnight and the next day I rub both hands together and this skin goes away on its own 😁😁
