In 2024, the number of long-term Ethereum holders increased significantly, while the number of long-term Bitcoin holders decreased. According to data published on December 30 by the platform IntoTheBlock, the percentage of long-term Ethereum holders increased from 59% in January to 75% at the end of the year. In contrast, the percentage of long-term Bitcoin holders decreased from 70% to 62% during the same period. Currently, 75.1% of Ethereum investors and 62.3% of Bitcoin investors have held their assets for more than a year.
