 In the 48 hours following Elon Musk's cryptocurrency comments, Dogecoin whales went on a massive buying spree.  According to data from cryptocurrency market analyst Ali Martinez, they have bought nearly 1 billion Dogecoins.  During this time alone, more than 470 million dogecoins have been accumulated by whales.  The purchases came as the price of Dogecoin, the token meme currency, fell more than 20% from $0.39620 to $0.31648.  However, Dogecoin managed to recover by 4.66% and is currently trading at around $0.33189.
