One of the main factors behind this growth is the recent executive order signed by US President Donald Trump, which includes the creation of a government bitcoin reserve.  Meanwhile, Ripple (XRP) has faced a lot of criticism on social media.  Pierre Rochard, Vice President of Research at Riot Platforms, claimed that the main challenge to Bitcoin's strategic reserve (SBR) is not the Federal Reserve or banks, and Ripple is the main challenge.
