Im feeling that as well. They are good rubber duck partners and long text parsers, but coming up with original ideas and staying the course on persistent missions seems like a request too large for the current tech.

So far I am not super impressed by LLMs, and I have them even running on raspberry pi’s.

I use them constantly. I think we’re getting close to them being useful for DAOs but they are more like force-multiplier tools than they are truly autonomous yet.
