transistors didn’t change the world just because they were better tech

fairchild, the company that made transistors boom, didn’t invent them, but made them cheap, reliable, and easy to use, while sharing designs and blueprints with manufacturers, paving the way for an entire industry

in web3, too many are trying to reinvent the transistor instead of making them easier to use and guiding the path for builders

@base and @farcaster are among the few exceptions

they’ve built open, programmable infrastructure and protocols, but more importantly, they’re making it easier for both users and developers to tap in - driving adoption and scaling their own demand

now it’s on us to take these transistors and build what the masses will use 🫡
