🔥 Update SEC vs Ripple event Currently, Ripple is ready to pay the $125 million fine and continue operating. However, the SEC requested a delay in payment until after September 6. According to attorney @attorneyjeremy1, it is likely that the SEC has not yet decided whether to counterclaim this decision, as making a counternotification only takes 15 minutes, and they have 70 days to add the official summary. The payment of a $125 million fine after years of selling XRP was considered a victory for Ripple. According to the construction instructions, each side has 60 days to respond from the date of the Judge's decision (August 7, 2024). If the SEC produces an appeal, the case is not over yet and is likely to last until next summer.
