I'm finally coming around to how predatory Next.js/Vercel duo is to the JavaScript ecosystem It's the same playbook Mixpanel ran years ago. Generous when free but the second you scale in any meaningful direction, your credit card gets pounded.

This is true. They did though just come out with I believe a feature where you can set a cap on how much they run your card
