When people say Microstrategy owns 10 billion worth of $BTC they forget that the moment they would actually want to sell, the price would immediately drop and they'd be able to liquidate only at a huge discount.

Being a large entity owing a large junk of supply of a coin is highly unattractive!

Indeed, and it’s the same for a lot of those billionaires whose wealth is concentrated in their company’s stock. But they can sell slowly over time like Bezos is doing and not disrupt the market much

What’s worse, as soon as Microstrategy starts selling and someone finds out, they trigger sell offs from others as well. Best thing they could do is sell into huge volume during the bull stage of the market

How does Microstrategy work? Have yhry sold any yet? Surely investors have wanted to cash out some? I only hear about them buying.
