Uniswap Labs is releasing the fourth version of its Uniswap decentralized exchange. The main innovation of “Hooks" was announced on Friday. These are modular plug-ins that allow developers to set custom logic for pools, swaps, commissions, and positions of liquidity providers. This will result in dynamic commissions and automated liquidity management.
Uniswap v4 has already been launched on many networks: Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, Base, BNB Chain and others. Users can add liquidity through the Uniswap web application, and the asset swap feature will appear as liquidity transitions to v4.
