Day 8! Although a few projects have solidified themselves as the early leaders, there are many other strong communities that were launched early on Ordinals. Owning these collections allows for special access in Discord to raffles, alpha, and sometimes airdrops. Not financial advice and do your own research 🧵:

Bitcoin Shrooms Bitcoin Shrooms are probably the first collection to be inscribed on Bitcoin. However with a supply of just over 200, it does not get into the arguments about whether it is the first 10K collection. This historic collection has had sales of over 3 and 4 BTC.

Sub10K The first 10,000 inscriptions to Bitcoin are looked at as having historical provenance. Many of the collections in this thread have at least part of the collection inscribed under 10K. There is an official Discord, but low inscription numbers has not become a popular meta yet.

Bitcoin Wizards As outlined in my previous Quantum Cats/Taproot Wizards thread, the meme that the Taproot Wizards are based on was originally created by Mavensbot. The Taproot Wizards and Deezy Labs teams helped Mavensbot launch the Bitcoin Wizards as their own collection.

All Bitcoin Wizards were also entered into an early raffle for a guaranteed white list for Taproot Wizards. They also launched the $WZRD token on BRC-20, which may have a conversion to Runes in the near future.

Bitcoin Boos Led by Bootoshi, Bitcoin Boos have two collections, the Boos, a mostly Sub10K collection, and the Boottalions, a slightly larger collection that includes some cursed (negative numbered) inscriptions. The discord has many giveaways and Bootoshi has a focus on giving alpha for both Ordinals and AI bots.

Badgers  The Honey Badgers are a collection, mostly inscribed below 100K. The discord holds a lot of giveaways and has a very engaged community discussing alpha across Bitcoin and other chains. Also, like a badger, the community has a mischievous, joking culture.

Ordinauts Ordinauts is made up of three collections, Ordinauts (Sub20K collection), Dark Ordinauts (many below 100K), and Galactic Passport (which is more of an entry pass to their discord). Lots of giveaways and a lot of OGs own this collection, giving out alpha

Goosinals Goosinals is from artist Dmitri Cherniak, who sold an NFT for over $6M in 2023. In October 2023, he partnered with MOMA to create the art that would eventually make up the collection. Goosinals was launched across chains, but 10K landed on Bitcoin. This project is a cross between community and fine art
