First time I've made an online restaurant reservation and it asked me if I want to pre-order any food so it's ready once we arrive. I love this!

I value efficiency and look forward to more of this but this feels like a slippery slope into airplane seat maxxing.

Instead of reducing our legroom, busy restaurants may start reducing our sitting time. Why have waiters if you no longer need to wait?
