Ridiculous crybaby comments from Roon that people only are taking seriously because he is the one saying it

I have been periodically checking what’s up with Twitter algo since Elon took over so that I can offer meaningful advice on how to use that platform. 

There have been a few changes that made the feed more unstable for people. The engagement for small accounts and non consistent posters dwindled and this had a knock on effect on those who tried to game engagement- they started almost exclusively using influencer tweets for that. 

This is why any time there is a thread instead of thoughtful comments we see a bunch of garbage like people trying to redirect readers to their pages that create similar content. 

This is possible because there were other variables introduced to how posts are prioritized. 

I visualize these types of patterns as interconnected engagement loops in my head. If you are going to meddle with one you are going to disturb what goes on somewhere else. I’m not very invested in Twitter doing well, the overlords can do whatever they want but this is why I’m interested in web3 social.
